Ponce
Ponce, the second largest city in Puerto Rico outside of the San Juan metropolitan area is named after the grandson of Spanish conquistador Juan Ponce de León. It is located a few miles from the Caribbean coastline of the island. Ponce is often referred to as "The Pearl of the South."

The heydays of Ponce was during the last century when it was the center of the island’s sugar-growing country. Casa Paoli - the Puerto Rico Center for Folkloric Research and is the venue of many cultural activities.

Castillo Seralles - the old villa of the Seralles family, founders of the DonQ destillery. An awesome villa, with a great view over the city of Ponce. The museum inside gives a great impression of how a rich family could live in the colonial days.

Museum of Music - The Museum of Puerto Rican Music traces the rich musical history of the island through memorabilia of famous musicians and displays of Indian Spanish and African musical instruments.

Ponce Art Museum - of the finest collections in the Caribbean including works by Velasquez Rubens and Rodin.
