New Jersey is just south of New York, just 'cross the river to the Jersey side' as Jersey born Bruce Springsteen sings. The state has a lot of things to explore: A big part of the Apalachian trail, the Delaware Water Gap, an exciting coast with Atlantic City - the gambling capital of the East Coast - and Great Egg Harbor as two very diverse highlights.
Trenton the capital is located right in the centre of the state and is a good base for exploring the region. In West Orange you can visit the old laboratory of Thomas Edison whose inventions changed the lives of millions of people all over the world. |
